Yesterday (8th) morning, Xinhui District Mayor Wen Yan went to Shuangshui Town to investigate key enterprise projects and urban planning and construction. Accompanied by Shuangshui Town Party Secretary Nie Jiawei and others, Wen Yan went to Guangdong Huatang Industrial Co., Ltd. and the Jianglin Coastal Commercial District construction site in Shuangshui Town to understand the situation. These two projects are Shuangshui Town's key industrial and urban construction projects this year.

Guangdong Huatang officially settled in the B area of the Yinzhou Lake Paper Industry Base in Shuangshui Town at the beginning of 2014, covering an area of 100.4 mu (approximately 6.7 hectares), with a planned investment of 300 million yuan. It plans to build a production line with an annual processing capacity of 503,400 tons of sugar, capable of producing 300,000 tons of refined sugar, 240,000 tons of refined sugar syrup, and 100,000 tons of caramel color annually. Equipment will be invested in phases; the initial phase can process 1,500 tons of sugar raw materials per day. After the completion of the entire project, the production capacity will reach 2,000 tons per day, achieving an annual sales revenue of 3.74 billion yuan and tax revenue of nearly 300 million yuan, bringing good economic and social benefits to the local area.

Currently, the refined sugar workshop and carbon dioxide workshop are planned to be topped out before the end of March. The plastering work inside the refined sugar workshop has been completed by 80%, and the interior and exterior wall decoration of the refined sugar workshop is planned to be completed in mid-April; at the same time, the factory roads are being paved, and 30% of the road from the factory gate to the refined sugar workshop has been completed. 85% of the equipment installation has been completed; the clarification, separation, and drying sections have been installed, and the remaining packaging section is being installed. All equipment installation will be completed by the end of March; in addition, 20% of the power distribution project has been completed.

After listening to the project leader's report, Wen Yan stated that the district government will strongly support the project construction, cooperate wholeheartedly, and strive to promote the project's early commissioning and operation.
